Bull City 150 Collaboration
Co-curated by members of Bull City 150, a Durham, North Carolina-based public history project whose mission is to “invite Durhamites to reckon with the racial and economic injustices of the past 150 years and commit to building a more equitable future,” these traveling exhibitions on past and present inequality convened hundreds of Durhamites as part of the city’s 150th anniversary. These photos are from Bull City 150-organized events, including the “Tapestries of Home” series of public programs, a collaboration between Bull City 150 and Durham Community Land Trustees. Bull City 150 is a joint project of the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity and the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University.
